What Are Expansion Joints

Expansion Joints are structural elements that allow the expansion and contraction of concrete due to variations in temperature and humidity, thus preventing the occurrence of fissures or cracks. These joints are installed at regular intervals along a concrete structure and allow sections of the structure to move independently of each other.
