Description

IPC 7200 is a new generation colored surface hardener for concrete floors, produced with Nanolithium (Nanolithium), which allows the addition of colors, with good resistance to abrasion.

Formulated with reactive silicon-based technology in aqueous emulsion, it can be applied to freshly finished concrete, after its curing period, or to existing and already cured concrete.

We recommend that IPC 7200 be applied to cementitious floors after mechanical polishing with #220 sandpaper, so that it can penetrate deeper into the porosity and fix the color.

After application IPC 7200 promotes a matte colored finish with high resistance to abrasion, forming a denser, impermeable and resistant surface, not requiring the excess to be removed at the end of the application.

In addition to significantly increasing the abrasion resistance, like the old surface hardeners, it densifies the entire molecular structure of the concrete, considerably reducing its porosity and eliminating the formation of dust, resulting from the intense traffic of forklifts, rigid wheeled carts and heavy vehicles.

IPC 7200 does not fill micro-cracks, does not repair structural failures in concrete, and does not color the surface entirely and evenly. This is a cement pigmentation process with a translucent, smoky-coloured effect.

To protect the color, it is recommended to apply the crystallizer IPC 7400 with high aesthetic shine and greater durability.

Do not cover the surface for a period of 7 (seven) days, in order to allow the combination of IPC 7200 and IPC 7400 to breathe, cure and harden the concrete floor, avoiding possible stains.

It becomes an integral part of the physical structure of the concrete floor due to the strong chemical reaction promoted with the cement, increasing its high resistance to abrasion. It is totally different from waxes, acrylic resins, epoxy resins and floor varnishes, which simply overlap the floor and wear out easily.

Yield approximately 10 m2 per liter. This yield will depend on ambient temperature and surface porosity.
